• Responsible for deploying Lean and Six sigma concepts and tools.
  
• Assisting managers in developing six sigma strategies for their respective departments and providing vision and analytical thinking to managers who have not been exposed to six sigma.
  
• Lead culture change by driving six sigma breakthrough strategies across the region, focusing on major business initiatives.
  
• Lead, train, and coach team members through completion of each project
  
• Identify, gather and analyze all pertinent information necessary to accomplish project goals.
  
• Responsible for ensuring that key metrics are defined, tracked and re-evaluated and that improvements have a measurable positive impact for each project
  
• Drive Lean implementation projects across the facility that improves operational and business processes.
  
• Partner with Finance and decision support and incorporate project savings into long-range financial plans and operating budget.
  
• Develop and implement project communication plans to inform senior leadership and appropriate staff of project status and outcomes.
  
• Maintain established policies and procedures, improving organization performance program, and patient/customer safety standards.

• Green Belt Certification Required; Black Belt Certified with multiple project closure preferred
  
• Trained in Lean; Lean Certified preferred
  
• Operational background preferred
  
• Experience teaching Six Sigma and mentoring projects
  
• Black Belt training
  
• Ability to influence at senior management level and group settings
  
• Ability to bridge/translate six sigma to healthcare environment
  
• Project leadership skills and ability to train and facilitate multi-functional teams in problem solving, process improvement and developing control plans.
  
• Healthcare or Services experience preferred but not required
  
• Bachelors Degree required, Masters preferred
  
• Apparent analytical and problem solving skills
  
• Strong project management skills
  
• Understanding of statistical tools
  
• Ability to exercise sound independent judgment
  
• Strong computer skills
  
• Accomplishments which reflect teamwork, integrity, accountability and speed
  
• Knowledge in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) preferred
