Job Description:
Senior Business Analyst (Process and Transformation Proposal to Cash) Position Overview: As part of the Proposal to Cash (P2C) team, you help drive transformational change in the business fulfillment process. •You provide analysis to enable the P2C leadership team to assess strategic choices and operational options. •You enable the crucial linkage between strategy and detailed metrics analysis: o By ensuring that we plan for needed program enhancements o By ensuring that there is time to revise resource plans, capital requests, and OPEX to deliver according to plan •You create business models that help us effectively understand what drives our business and how to optimize it •You provide leadership to the P2C team as it moves to the more structured approach to process reengineering deployment; ensure we leverage the appropriate tools to drive true process transformation
Key Responsibilities: •Assist with the development and management of P2C business processes, metrics and systems requirements •Review, monitor and assess operational performance against our strategic and business plans •Lead the development and simulation of business models that increase our ability to understand and optimize our business performance •Conduct research, investigation and analysis as required to meet our business objectives •Play an active role in special projects that require analysis, assessment, and strategic insight •Support ongoing senior leadership reporting
Required Skills and Abilities: •Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt training and hands-on application across minimum of 3 projects •Strong understanding of business analysis and process improvement •Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills with the ability to strategize and interpret business objectives and negotiate favourable results •Well developed experience providing leadership on large complex projects that are cross-functional and multi-disciplinary •Demonstrated ability to disaggregate and analyze problems, to probe facts, identify and question assumptions, and analyze issues from different perspectives to inform decision-making •Ability to research and analyze complex strategic and business issues •Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills •Strong organizational skills including the ability to plan, coordinate and monitor a significant number of functions simultaneously •Strong analytical, problem identification and solving skills •Ability to foster collaboration and build consensus across multiple constituencies; ability to direct and guide projects •Demonstrated ability to drive change while keeping the focus on the customer •Ability to exceed goals successfully and to steadfastly push for results •Ability to work effectively with shifting demands and rapid change
Required Professional Designation/Certification: •University degree in Business or Industrial/Process Engineering preferred •Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt certification Required Experience: •Five to ten years of professional work experience in business / strategic analysis
