Role Summary/Purpose Performance Solutions is GE Healthcare’s consulting business. Our consultants work closely with the leadership teams of hospitals to improve financial and operational performance, improve clinical outcomes, build leaders, improve management decision-making, enhance patient/customer experiences, build performance improvement capabilities and adopt GE management practices. GEHC’s Performance Solutions is transforming the way healthcare institutions operate. Essential Responsibilities Consulting Project Delivery: Serve as engagement executive. Supervise the work of the Engagement Leader to ensure that engagement quality is great and that clients are delighted by our work. Become personally involved at whatever level is necessary to ensure the morale, welfare, safety, motivation, and professional development of project team members. Meet targets for engagement resource utilization and timeliness. Promote and complete timely performance feedback to team members and engagement leaders. Demonstrate ability to design and lead engagements to meet client needs and expectations while supporting sale of add on work. Establish and maintain relationships at the executive level.
Sales: Work with the sales team to identify and pursue new client opportunities and upsells with existing clients. Activities will include interacting with client during solution meetings, generating contracts and proposals, and project scoping. Support between $3M - $5Mof sales annually. Establish relationships with other GEHC channels to support PS client management and sales. Develop engagement pricing strategy.
Practice Management: Serve as an manager of between 5 and 8 team members. Develop goals and objectives, support career development, monitoring performance, ensure appropriate engagement assignments, provide performance feedback and performance manage as appropriate. Develop new solutions as assigned. Demonstrate mastery of all RCE solutions including Patient safety, Patient Flow, and Service Line Innovation. Qualifications/Requirements ·Bachelors Degree ·5+ years consulting or similar business leadership or project management experience ·At least 3 years healthcare industry experience. ·Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Access, with demonstrated capability to learn new applications as required. ·Ability to market and sell high dollar, intellectual-property based engagements. ·Ability to manage complex, workflow reengineering projects and/or management process projects, including outstanding analytical and communication skills. ·Marketing experience with services or solutions, including strategy, offer definition, business case development, and go-to-market strategy. ·Experience in creating and communicating value propositions with sales, clients and delivery teams. ·Experience in promoting sales by leading consultative selling and supporting sales and business development. ·Ability to lead within a matrix environment. ·Ability to travel regularly 70% of work time. ·Ideally based in Atlanta, Georgia or Southeast. ·Unrestricted work authorization in the US, without VISA sponsorship Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work.
