Job Description:
Our Client has an immediate need for an experienced Master Black Belt with a STRONG Logistics background for a highly paid temporary assignment in South West Asia. The assignment location is not known until deployment, but could be in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar or similar location.
The assignment is on a contract basis for 90 days and will likely extend over the holidays. No leave is permitted once deployment occurs. The work occurs 7 days a week and for 10 hours a day. Even though the deployment is for 3 months, the salary earned is the equivalent of 5 ½ months and is reimbursed at $675/day or $60,000 for the contract term. Prior to deployment a short orientation training program must be completed.
The work itself is for traditional Six Sigma project work optimizing logistics in theatre in support of the War on Terror. The successful applicant will work closely with uniformed military personnel and will work to streamline delivery of supplies and other logistical concerns at the direction of the client.
This job is ideal for someone who wants to contribute to America's defense and be paid well for their efforts.
Job Requirements:
Certified Master Black Belt from a RECOGNIZED national certification authority (Six Sigma Academy, Six Sigma Qualtec or equivalent)
US Citizen and capable of passing a national agency background check (no felony convictions)

Demonstrated Leadership abilities
Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
Ability to work to deadlines and manage stress in a fast paced environment
Good physical condition and ability to pass pre-deployment fitness test

Not required, but desired:
Former experience as a Army Officer (Transportation, Quartermaster Branches preferred)
Familiarity with US Army rank and organizational structure
Philosophical support for current US efforts in the War on Terror
Active Secret Security Clearance
