Job Description:
Would you like to see your words of wisdom published via the iSixSigma Blogosphere? We are currently looking for highly motivated Six Sigma practitioners to join our team as contributing bloggers. Black Belts, Master Black Belts, Champions, Deployment Leaders, and others with relevant hands-on experience will be considered.
We are not seeking Six Sigma consultants at this time, only practitioners who are out in the field working in various industries.
Ideally, you will write around a central theme you feel passionate about. Take some aspect of Six Sigma that you are keenly interested in and expand on it: relate stories, explain concepts, share epiphanies. Think of the blog as your personal "column" promoted on the iSixSigma website – including the four channels (Financial Services, Software/IT, Healthcare and Europe) – and in iSixSigma Magazine. That’s an audience of more than 500,000 targeted readers per month!
Blogs entries can be considered published works that lie somewhere between peer-reviewed/edited articles and the iSixSigma Discussion Forum. Each blog entry should be about a thought-out topic, but not necessarily a fully developed idea suitable for publication in iSixSigma Magazine. Think of a blog as a sounding board for new ideas and a soapbox for viewpoints. Please read some of the current iSixSigma Blogosphere posts to become familiar with the content found on the blogs.
Peer recognition is one of the greatest benefits of blogging with iSixSigma. Get recognized as a thought leader in the Six Sigma community.
If you are interested please send the following in the cover letter space provided below: 1) job experience (companies and roles), 2) why you are interested in blogging, and – most importantly – 3) potential topics you'll write about (or experiences you'll share). If the required information is not submitted in the cover letter, you will not be considered for this position. Thank you. |
