Job Description:
As the internal, enterprise-wide consulting arm of the company's strategic leadership, this role is responsible for establishing relationships at the executive cabinet level across the company and identifying, leading and implementing a wide variety of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness and profitability of the company. Essential duties include, but are not limited to: Engages with and counsels business unit leadership/management and leads project teams to achieve continuous improvement results, such as reducing cost; improving cycle time, enhancing customer experience, etc.. Coaches business unit management on use of tools for assessing people, process and systems performance. Collaboratively partner with regional process improvement initiatives such as lean six sigma, PMO and other business unit objectives, to leverage common initiatives, eliminate duplication and ensure alignment with our continuous improvement and innovation core value across the enterprise.
Establish and monitor metrics and measurements and teaches managers to use those tools to manage their environment and "hold the improvement gains." Provides coaching and mentoring to business project leaders on projects that deliver high return and high strategic value. Performs other duties as assigned. Requires BA/BS with 10+ years experience in management consulting, business development, large scale project management, line operations and process improvement leadership, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Masters degree, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or other process improvement certification required. Healthcare experience preferred. Must demonstrate effective situational leadership, quick and continuous learning style, and high impact project management skills. Requires excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills also needed. Must have excellent computer skills, demonstrating fluency with all key packages. |
