Job Description:
Key Role:
Support commercial clients in the oil and gas and utilities industry with plant optimization using six Sigma and Lean methodologies to improve business and manufacturing processes. Coach clients in the use of analytical tools associated with lean manufacturing and process improvement. Guide the client organization in managing changes related to the implementation and use of the Lean and Six Sigma approach. Reach out to the broader operations community to leverage and share expertise to support the marketing effort and the development of the firm’s thinking. Establish a proven track record of solid project delivery, superior client relationship building, and excellent teamwork skills.
Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with maintenance improvement or plant level performance improvement
-Ability to travel nationally 100 percent of the time
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-5-10 years of experience with internal or external consulting in operations, supply chain, or service management within the oil and gas or utilities industry
-3-5 years of experience with Lean Six Sigma product delivery
-Experience with the oil and gas or utility industry
-Experience with large-scale organization transformation and design, Business Process Reengineering, performance and change management, or business
-MBA or MS degree preferred; PhD a plus
-Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
