Requirements
Qualifications:Minimum four to six years of experience working with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (preferred within a transactional environment).
o Lean and or Six Sigma Certification required; Black Belt Certification
o Experience mentoring Green Belts through projects.
o Change management and project leadership experience.
o Strong influencing skills.
o Strong facilitation skills and the ability to build positive working relationships within a variety of organizational departments.
o Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and oral. Developing and presenting formal presentations to senior leadership
o Bachelor's degree strongly recommended, advanced degree preferred
o Experience with the deployment of change management and/or process improvement.
o Facilitating work groups and teaching Lean and Six Sigma tools & techniques
o Microsoft Office and Minitab (or a comparable) skills
(Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.)
Position Summary: Operational Excellence is responsible for identifying and executing against performance improvement opportunities, supporting successful implementations within the enterprise, and building people capabilities within , using appropriate performance improvement tools.

Job Description
Essential Functions:
Demonstrates significant experience in applying improvement tools pragmatically and producing results for a business segment
o Demonstrates deep project leadership capability
o Works in cross-functional teams to synthesize findings and develop improvement recommendations, execute and complete selected improvement projects to achieve operating profit and quality goals
o Actively leads teams in problem solving efforts; identifying and removing barriers that prevent attainment of project goals
o Develops action plans and identifies/assigns resources to execute plans
o Coaches and mentors Green Belts, Process Owners and Sponsors in their application of Lean and Six Sigma tools, techniques and principles
o Proactively develops and maintains broad knowledge of the technical disciplines; applies broad knowledge of trends and best practices in a manner that ensures exceptional performance and results.
o Acts as a catalyst for innovation ; generates practical, sustainable and creative options to solve problems and create business opportunities, while maximizing existing resources.
o Provides timely input to project database and reporting system
