Job Description
Leads supplier quality for Beverage Business Unit. Develops strategy and implementation plans for compliance and continuous improvement, while ensuring continuity of supply. Leads effective and efficient cross functional teams collaborating on supplier initiatives. Regular interface with Procurement, Auditing, R&D, Operations, Micro/Food Safety, and others in Quality. Ensures effective communication of concerns and coordination of preventive and corrective actions to minimize business risk. Involved in site audits and approval.
BS in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Packaging Engineering or related field
Minimum of 8 years Food Industry experience.
Functional work experience (R&D, Quality, Plant or related) and knowledge of Quality Systems desired.
Packaging experience desired
Training in Lean Six Sigma, Black Belt or Green Belt desired
Travel up to 60%
