Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, training, communications, or relevant field
 Degree or certificates in several continuous improvement disciplines (e.g., Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, 5S, visual workspace, etc.)
 Minimum of five (5) years of continuous improvement experience
 Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred and/or willingness to pursue
 Proficient PC skills to access and maintain information and communicate electronically
 Excellent understanding of principles of statistical process control
 Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001
 Excellent organizational skills
 Proven leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive team atmosphere
 Aptitude and desire to gain understanding of situations, processes, and procedures in an effort to improve upon them
 First-rate interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications and conflict management resolution
 Capacity to work independently and within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
 Highly self-motivated and directed, ability to work well under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple disciplines concurrently, attend to details, and meet deadlines
 Flexible, adaptable, and able to interact with employees at all levels of the organization;ability to change priorities and direction with minimal notice
 Ability to make sound, critical decisions with minimal consultation or input from others
 Progressive drive to promote and sustain a continuous improvement culture
 Proficient in reading, writing, and mathematics
