Job Description
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will plan and Lead Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement teams for manufacturing and support processes. They will support production by developing and implementing continuous improvement strategies. RESPONSIBILITIES · Work with CI Manager to define and scope improvement opportunities · Leads and executes breakthrough and continuous improvement Projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies · Develops and applies necessary technical skills to deliver improvement results · Engages line/process/department personnel in all phases of improvement work (team members and key stakeholders) · Develops strong technical network with plant resources · Maintains appropriate documentation including project charter, progress updates and final reports · Captures and communicates learning to enable best practice replication · Participates on several Lean Six Sigma projects prior to Lean Six Sigma training · Successfully execute 4 Lean Six Sigma projects per year following the Lean Six Sigma training and certification · Participate in Line Assessments, sigma level calculations, and project hopper development · Responsible for personal compliance with all regulations, safety policies, and procedures that support Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety · Responsible for training and leading CI teams · Perform other duties as required
