Requirements
Qualifications for this position include:• 8+ years of hands-on experience driving reengineering or transformation programs in either a consulting or financial services firm
• Ability to successfully apply Lean Six Sigma methodology, with a minimum of 3 years experience and practitioner certification preferred
• Proven problem solver, self-motivated, results-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment with different functional areas to get the job done
• Highly motivated, self starter, enthusiastic, and creative individual
• Adept at quantitative analysis using superior analytical skills

• Demonstrated experience in project management, continuous process improvement problem-solving methodologies, root cause analysis, and cost/benefit analysis
• Execution orientated, with a strong sense of urgency around tangible accomplishments
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build effective relationships across functions, across regions, and across all levels of management - Proven ability to prioritize business objectives and effectively manage multiple projects through to timely benefit realization. - Ability to lead groups of both managed and non-managed staff and to present information to seniors and stakeholders in terms that facilitate understanding and necessary actions
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time
Essential Functions
Principal responsibilities include:
• Translating complex business problems into scoping, directing, and managing a large improvement/reengineering projects.
• Providing evaluative judgment and ongoing communication pertaining to factual information in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations; drawing on diverse range of internal and external resources to establish strategic direction and vision of the business process reengineering function
• Improving the economics and quality of Citi's operations through the redesign of work flow, process defect elimination, competitive benchmarking, performance metrics development, data collection, and the application of statistical and mathematical optimization techniques
• Ensuring measurability of reengineering impact and helping track overall impact. Accountable for project execution, deliverables, and effective and timely communication (presentation and verbal) - Actively partners with other Citi reengineering teams to identify and leverage best practices in other functional areas - Supports and implements companywide reengineering methodology, approach, policies, objectives, plans, and procedures - Effectively collaborates to achieve project and organizational goals
• Working effectively in ambiguous situations; must be able to adapt and show initiative in support of sustainable change
• Operating in a matrix environment

The Global Corporate Services Transformation Team is responsible for key reengineering efforts to drive change across a variety of services organizations within Citi, including Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Services and Accounts Payable. The role of the Reengineering Manager is an essential element in the build-out and management of this capability. The candidate will drive reengineering initiatives to advance "simplification" projects within/across business segments. Candidate must be highly energetic, demonstrate solid analytical skills, be a strong change agent and have polished interpersonal skills
