Description

The Toll Manufacturing Quality Manager will report to the TCO and Quality Leader and will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with tolling vendors globally through service procurement, new product development, and ongoing operations.

New Toller Identification / Qualification

  • Develop and manage execution of approval process to qualify new tollers (EH&S, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing etc.)
  • Support R&D and Supply Chain on identifying tollers with capabilities to meet product performance specifications and delivery metrics

New Product Development and Product Changes

  • Facilitate communication between R&D and tollers during new product/process development
  • Establish and execute a process to develop and approve product specifications and validate compliance for tolled products, in collaboration with internal GCP team and toller
  • Implement quality control and monitoring regimen for each new product to ensure consistent product quality and delivery metrics

Ongoing Operations and Quality Control

  • Support Supply Chain on contract, Service Level Agreements, Renewals and Updates
  • Develop and manage execution of quality control monitoring process for all new and existing tollers and key suppliers within GCP’s production network
  • Develop and manage execution of delivery performance monitoring process for all new and existing tollers and key suppliers within GCP’s production network
  • Conduct annual performance reviews of major tollers and key suppliers in partnership with Supply Chain
  • Lead cross-functional teams (R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain) in working with toller and key suppliers to resolve product and quality non-compliance issues
  • Ensure tollers and key suppliers comply with environmental, health, safety and product regulations

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree preferably in Operations management or Engineering
  • 5+ years in Operations/Quality Management / Manufacturing / Supply Chain Experience
  • Global experience developing relationship across cultures
  • Excellent communication, and writing skills
  • Foster a team environment that develops strong business and professional relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Experience in developing contract and Service Level Agreements, as well as KPIs for performance.
  • Black belt training/certification preferred
  • Comfortable managing and analyzing data
  • Comfortable working with external parties
  • 50% travel
