Vice President – Facilities, Infrastructure & Environment Care

Position Located in Lewes, DE

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architecture, Business Management, or closely related field of study (extensive experience in these fields may be substituted for this degree).
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma Training.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a large health care setting supervising building trades and maintenance workers and contractors in both acute care and ambulatory setting. Experience with project design and development, project management, facilities operations management, and implementation responsibility of projects of significant size and scope.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architecture, Business Management, or closely related field of study (extensive experience in these fields may be substituted for this degree).
  • Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) training.
  • A forward-thinking, focused and customer service-oriented individual who possesses strong leadership and communication skills and is capable of working as part of a team. Proven ability to work with physicians, staff and administration. Outstanding problem.

Overview:

Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment of Care is responsible for the management of the System’s facilities, grounds and other assets; provides direct leadership to the System’s maintenance, cleanliness, and code compliance; assist in the development of the System’s real estate plan; assure appropriate management of all capital projects.
