Cape Fear Valley Health System has retained Cejka Executive Search to conduct a national search to recruit an experienced and proven healthcare executive to serve as the system’s Vice President, Patient Experience.

The Vice President, Patient Experience will drive and foster a culture of patient and family centered care and service excellence across the enterprise. Working in partnership with executives and operational teams at all levels across the organization, the Vice President, Patient Experience will assess and translate opportunities for improvement into action-oriented plans and programs that promote world-class care, service, experience and patient relations across the multi-site health system. As an experienced and results-oriented transformational leader, the Vice President, Patient Experience will identify opportunities for professional development and coaching of all staff and healthcare providers to embed and sustain a culture of service excellence, patient experience and patient relations within Cape Fear Valley Health System. Working within a matrix environment, the Vice President, Patient Experience will serve as an influential and inspiring leader.

Located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Cape Fear Valley Health System is the 7th largest health system in the state and serves more than a million patients. With eight hospitals totaling approximately 1,100-beds, Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, a 600-bed hospital, is the system’s flagship facility. Cape Fear Valley Health System has the busiest Emergency Department in the state and one of top 15 busiest in the nation. With over 7,500 employees and 850 physicians, Cape Fear Valley Health System provides services to a 6-county region in southeastern North Carolina.

Ideal candidates will be system experts in designing and managing a comprehensive patient satisfaction and service excellence platform that promotes a culture of superior outcomes, safety, clinical care, service excellence, and engagement. A proven track record of results, data analysis and interpretation skills, and project management experience is required. A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced professional degree is preferred.
